Start with the connection you want
You can want affection, romance, a long-term relationship or a shorter connection without wanting frequent sex. Your dating intention and your interest in intimacy are separate things to talk about. You decide what you are looking for; a questionnaire cannot decide that for you.
On Libimatch, you choose long-term dating, short-term dating or openness to both. Photos, your public profile prompt and interests help someone get to know you before an intimate conversation is even on the table.
What stays private on Libimatch
Your profile shows the information you choose to share publicly with eligible members: your photos, first name, age, city, bio, interests and dating intention. Intimacy questionnaire answers stay off that profile. Other members do not see a libido label or a compatibility percentage.
You can answer questions about desire, frequency and affection privately, skip individual questions, or continue without answers. The answers you choose to provide help order future profile suggestions alongside ordinary dating preferences. They do not guarantee that another person has a particular libido.
A first conversation can be simple
You might say, “I enjoy affection, and I like getting to know someone without pressure around sex. How does that sound to you?” There is no obligation to explain your history, health or private questionnaire answers. You can also say you would rather talk about a topic later.
Listen to what the other person wants too. If your expectations differ, it is okay to end the conversation respectfully. Matching, flirting or agreeing to meet never creates a commitment to intimacy.
Decide what you want to share next
A mutual like opens text chat. Start with a public profile prompt or one of the optional conversation starters, then edit the message to sound like you. You can unmatch or block someone if you do not want further contact.
Libimatch offers a way to meet people; it does not diagnose desire or predict whether a relationship will work. If you are looking for help with a worrying change in desire, a dating app is not a replacement for qualified healthcare.
Good to know.
Can I skip the frequency questions?
Yes. Each intimacy question has a skip option, and you can continue without private answers altogether.
Will a match know I chose a lower level of desire?
Your answer is not shown to them. Suggestions do not include public libido labels, scores or filters for intimate answers.
Can I look for a long-term relationship?
Yes. Dating intention is separate from private intimacy preferences. Select the type of connection you want on your profile.
