Keep personal details on your terms
Use your profile to show your personality without publishing your home address, workplace schedule or private contact details. Look at the background of each photo before you upload it: a letter on a table or an address on a doorway can reveal more than you intend.
Libimatch keeps intimate questionnaire answers off your profile. That protection cannot extend to information you choose to type in a chat or share elsewhere. Take your time before giving someone your phone number, social accounts or details that make you easy to locate.
Treat requests for money as a warning
Fraudehelpdesk describes dating fraud in which someone builds a romantic connection and then asks for money, often with an urgent story. Do not send money to an online date. Requests involving investments also deserve caution; a convincing profile does not verify someone’s financial advice.
If you are unsure about a request, pause the conversation and contact Fraudehelpdesk through its official website. In Libimatch, use reporting and blocking to stop contact while the report is reviewed. Save relevant details if you may need them when seeking help.
Make a first meeting easy to leave
Choose a public place, tell someone you trust about the plan and arrange your own transport. Agree on something that feels manageable, such as a coffee rather than an entire evening together. You do not need to give someone your home address to meet them.
If you feel uncomfortable, you can end the date. You do not owe a detailed explanation, another drink or physical affection. A questionnaire answer, a like or a previous conversation never takes away your right to decide what you want in the moment.
Know what the app’s checks do
Libimatch is for adults aged 18 and over. Email verification confirms control of an email address; it is not an identity or age check. Photo review checks images against our rules and does not guarantee that a member is who they say they are.
Text chat opens only after a mutual like. You can unmatch or report and block a member. Reporting blocks their contact immediately, with moderation review following. Nudity, harassment, pressure and scams break our community rules. The app’s report function is not an emergency service.
Good to know.
Does a verified email mean a date is safe?
No. Email verification confirms email ownership. It does not establish a person’s identity, age or intentions. Make your own decisions about sharing information and meeting someone.
What happens when I report someone?
Reporting blocks contact with that member immediately. Moderators can review the report and take action. You can also unmatch when you no longer want a conversation.
Are nude photos allowed on Libimatch?
No. Nudity and explicit imagery are not allowed in profile photos. The app uses text-only chat, and an interest in libido compatibility is never permission for unsolicited sexual messages.
